Description:

Pool Nation VR is the most awaited fully dedicated pool game in virtual reality for the HTC Vive. Play pool with the coolest, realistic feel to it. Get that rustic, authentic pool bar vibe as you play it in virtual reality with some random player or with your friend online. The graphics is amazing and truly immersive. With the sandbox, unhindered freedom of the players to do whatever they want inside their own virtual world, you can be sure that no two pool matches will ever be the same. There will be chaos, spawning random beer bottles on the table. Throwing chairs and even jukeboxes to distract your opponent, Pool Nation VR is highly recommended.

Pros:

The pros in Pool Nation VR and what makes it a great virtual reality game to try out is its sandbox type of nature to it. Unlike more sophisticated VR games around, you can roam around the bar with the same means like Call of the Starseed. You pick a spawn location and you get to go there smoothly. The objects can also be lifted up and be interacted with if the player desires to. Bottles can be broken and spawned at will. That is a great way to love the game even before playing real pool matches. With regards to the pool game itself, the physics is superb and totally convincing. You can be as accurate as you can using the HTC Vive controllers though you might need to getting used to it.

The HTC Vive might not give a real feel to what you might have holding a pool stick but it’s a great game to play with someone online.

Cons:

First con of Pool Nation VR is its uncontrolled gameplay. The pool table is non-restrictive so when it’s a player’s turn to take a shot, the other player can mess around with some chairs or jukeboxes. That can be fun but with some random strangers who don’t have microphone on, it can be annoying and can ruin the game. Though virtual reality can give that much control over the virtual world people are in, watching a very messy pool game cannot be for everyone who just want some real competition.
