The wonderful world of VR has never been so exciting and fun with this humorous Valve offering, The Lab. Try the full game for free. Yes, free. Go ahead.
The Lab is Valve’s very own compilation of room-scale VR experiments set in a pocket universe within Aperture Science. This is where players can fix a robot, defend a castle, adopt a mechanical dog, and more. It was with this very game that many saw virtual reality now had some level of sophistication and advancements. The HTC Vive and the controllers were compatible with this game and made it fun for the average person to appreciate what VR games are all about. The arrow shooting section makes the entire game so much more immersive it gives a real sense of perspective when killing off targets. It also gives players time to get acquainted with the controls on how to hold and release objects in the VR world.
On top of it all, Valve have shown their dominance in making beautiful, flawless games that makes even the seasoned gamer want even more.
The Lab is one of those games that is really hard not to like or love. Being free is an awesome feature or perk in itself. Imagine getting these volume of games for no money at all. That gave access to many who would want to try VR games but are hesitant to really put some monetary investment into it. Those who already had the HTC Vive had their money’s worth by playing this game. For those who are yet to decide whether to buy an HTC Vive and had played some section of this game, have already bought one. This is a definitive game. The one that makes virtual reality something to look forward to. The Lab is a testament that although virtual reality can have great graphics, it still needs some gameplay mechanics that are engaging and fun.
Great value. Graphics is super. Fun to play. Free. Highly Recommended.
Well, although most reviews point out to be overwhelmingly positive for this game, The Lab also comes with its own negative side. First is the depth of the game. For any game to last long and become a classic, it needs to have a story line and a considerable amount of reward system. If The Lab can have some level system where players can move up the ladder and maybe have a different difficulty based on their experience, then it would be awesome. But The Lab, is however, just a fun introduction to a new mode of gaming.
But we certainly, would want some multi-player mode in that arrow shooting world.
