Artworks made out of 3D strokes, go inside the artwork that you create. It’s part sculpture, part sketch. It’s Tilt Brush. The best artwork game for VR.
Tilt Brush can be considered to belong to a small virtual reality genre of artistic games. However, it is definitely not limited to artistic people, nor to those who have creative inclinations. Anyone, and it is everyone, who would want to play the game. It is an open world sandbox where you can play around with different tools, colors, effects and amazing materials to create stunning and colorful artworks in 3D. As you draw something, you can check every single stroke and panel in 360 degree views. Everything can be drawn, no fine arts background required. Every project can be put in different worlds or views to fully appreciate the beauty and essence of what is drawn.
Amazing when you first played it and it gets more amazing when you start getting better at actually making beautiful art in virtual reality.
Tilt Brush have great reviews and rightfully so, because of the great and innovative features that it brought to VR. Using the HTC Vive controllers, you can actually make use of the hardware to manipulate the world to conform to what your mind is up to. Creating something in the game is definitely mind blowing and each trial and error in trying out different tools and colors will add up to give an even more amazing experience.
For newbies or non-artistic people, the game will give a playful vibe with just messing with the brushes making random strokes of different color. For pros who do art for a living, then this is a must have, a must try, a new thing to learn and master. Create unique, amazing artwork in a 3D world. And by the way, share what you did. People may like it.
Some of the nitpick from Tilt Brush is the inconsistency of the brushes, some brushes are difficult to manage and will often leave a rough texture when added on top of another. This is no problem for the pro drawers and painters but will often leave the newbies wanting more control with easier brush strokes to manage.
Aside from that, there’s nothing much else to go after with. Updates should include more options on the environment. Maybe add a more realistic room to make the player’s mind juice up. Some updates would have to fix some issues and add more options that will make the virtual reality game even more fun.
