The Oculus Rift is on its way to have more peripherals integrated to the system with the arrival of the Oculus Touch controllers and the new version of the headset’s headphones.What’s even good news to this new gadgets is its wider availability. The earphones, which is supposed to enhance Rift users’ experience, is priced at $49. The controllers are priced at the same $199 that Oculus is offering directly from their own site. Both products will begin to be fulfilled on December 6.
What’s an Oculus Touch?
The long-awaited Touch grip controllers that have axial relativity, triggers, joysticks and six action buttons in total. The package comes with an extra tracking sensor. Customers have the option to purchase extra sensors for room-scale VR for $79 each, however, these sensors are not yet announced for pre-orders. An extended range of 35 Touch games will launch December 6.
What’s new with the earphones?
For a start, they are extremely lightweight and smaller compared to the older set of headphones. It will also improve noise cancellation with its in-ear design that won’t let external sounds interfere with the in-game audio. For a not so expensive price, this is a great upgrade to your Oculus Rift headset.
