Fruit Ninja VR
If you loved the mobile version of this game, then this may be the time you hold on to a real sword. In Fruit Ninja VR, no more swiping, just slashing.
Who was not a big fan of the mobile version of the Fruit Ninja? Many years ago, it took our hearts and most of our time wasted with this awesome, addictive game. And now it has resurrected to do another version of itself in VR. The Fruit Ninja VR is already a classic re imagined for virtual reality. You are still the ninja that for some reasons slices fruits with your katana. There’s been a lot of improvement brought to this game like double katanas on both hands. This makes the game more fun by using two HTC Vive controllers as the handle of the swords.
Definitely worth the try and feel a renewed nostalgia of the game we are now beginning to love again.
When you try to play Fruit Ninja VR, try to imagine that this is a remake of probably one of the most addictive games of all time on mobile. The graphics are on point with the concept, the movements are precise with low latency in between slashes. New features and modes keep the player interested and most of all a very smart and challenging difficulty ranges. This is definitely one of those games that lived up to its older version’s playability. Yes, this may not be the game for all. But it almost is. Whether you like this type of virtual reality game or not, Fruit Ninja VR is definitely worth the try.
There’s not much to complain about with the game, it has carried over the design philosophy of the older mobile game that it is derived from. However, the color palette of the game may well be stressful to the eyes. It is always to bright and cartoonish to be a mature version of the game. Not to mention the poor graphics that may result from a low performing computer. This game can be stressful with the eyes in addition to motion blur of the fruits. Motion sickness is a big problem, and so are other virtual reality games in general.
Overall, it may appeal to more people but for some who are spoiled with close to real graphics may find ZenBlade a much better option.
